Assistant Professor Carla Hernández Garavito published this article in Ethnohistory, where she explores her findings of using spatial modeling to investigate a map from the 16th-century Peruvian Ande. This may allow researchers to explore the way in which Indigenous representations and understandings of the landscape influenced the portrayal of what would otherwise be considered a tool of colonial administration.
